Shopping decisions shouldn’t feel like homework. Retello.ai set out to make buying faster and more confident. I designed the MVP to drive investors and early signups.
Overview
Retello.ai helps users go from intent to purchase with comparisons and retailer offers. The phase 1 included a consumer MVP with a creator platform as the GTM engine with tools that let creators publish videos.
My Role
Product Designer (end-to-end). I led the design across brand, landing page and MVPs. I brought in collaborators during high-load periods and was accountable for communication and final outputs.

A NOTE
BRAND IDENTITY + LANDING PAGE
A brand + landing page project that expanded into end-to-end product design
I joined Retello to design the logo and landing page. As trust built with the team, I took on a broader product design role. The brand system became the foundation for the MVP UI patterns.
DESIGN SYSTEM
I built a lightweight design system to scale design + development across mobile and web
As the product expanded across B2C and creator workflows, I consolidated UI decisions and UX patterns into a reusable component library, tokens and type styles.
PHASE 1 - MOBILE APP
Retello started as a web proof-of-concept. I evolved it into a mobile-first experience that supports shopping journeys
Key surfaces included product detail modules (retailers/offers, reviews, specs), filters/sort, saved items, history, and a structured compare flow. Users should be able to make decisions without living inside a chat thread.
PHASE 2 - CREATOR PLATFORM
Creator tools that turn a video into a shoppable page and make their earnings legible
I designed the web platform creators use to monetize recommendations with transparency. The workflow focused on: connect accounts, paste a video, attach products, publish a clean destination page, and track performance.
PHASE 3 - VIDEO DISCOVERY
A discovery experience that connects creator videos to Retello's AI-powered product insights
To close the gap between “I saw it” and “I’m ready to buy,” I designed video discovery surfaces across mobile and web that keep Retello's insights one tap away. Each page pairs the creator’s content with a product tray and consistent buying actions.
REFLECTION
Due to a short timeline, I used Lovable to prototype data-heavy flows, cutting wireframing time by ~50%.
Sharing clickable prototypes with the founder and PM enabled faster alignment and high-level decisions on what data to surface, how to visualize it, and which interactions to prioritize.
